Ahead of London Bridal Fashion Week this Sunday, we can reveal what to expect from Morilee at the event…
If you’re attending this year’s London Bridal Fashion Week, you’ll want to make sure you head to Morilee’s stand to sneak a peek at their stunning Autumn/Winter Bridal Collection. They’ll be launching the latest collection at the event and showcasing the designs during an exclusive private catwalk show, taking place at 12.00 noon on Sunday 24th March at LBFW’s main stage.
For an invitation to the catwalk and to see the new collection, visit Morilee on stand D20 (Sunday 24th March 9.30 – 18.30, Monday 25th March 9.30 – 18.00 and Tuesday 26th March 9.30-16.00).
The collection, by New York based Designer Madeline Gardner, is inspired by Desert Dreams. Madeline says:
I’m excited to be coming to London for the launch of this new collection and can’twait to see it come to life on the catwalk!
I was inspired by wilderness landscapes; the amazing geometry of nature, flowers and smooth shapes of the sand dunes which are all reflected in the sleek silhouettes and lace detailing of the gowns.
The collection is totally dreamy, featuring floaty satin and delicate sequined net skirts accompanied by jaw-dropping, highly decadent trains.
Textured, dimensional beading will reflect in the light, as layers of tulle and organza reveal decadent depth and dimension. The silhouette of simple, structured shapes will capture the natural spirit of the bohemian bride.
You can expect to see lots of nude net bodices and backs, as well as plunging and peekaboo necklines.
