With exhibitions being given the green light by the government from 1st October, The National Wedding Show is all set to welcome exhibitors and visitors this Autumn…
Working in accordance with government guidelines, The National Wedding Show is all geared up for their October shows.
The Autumn 2020 events will take place on 2-4th October at NEC Birmingham, and 17-18th October at ExCeL London, with over 270 wedding suppliers already confirmed.
Ticket sales are said to be off to a very strong start and with many couples having postponed to 2021 and beyond, there are high expectations for a successful show.
Social distancing will be made easier by the introduction of more spacious gangways and one-way systems, plus there will be enhanced hygiene cleaning regimes and sanitising stations around the show. Both venues also benefit from parking facilities, making it easy for visitors to travel to the venue by car.
The Destination Wedding & Honeymoon Show will run alongside the ExCel show which will have a bigger floor plan this Autumn, showcasing venues and services from beautiful locations all over the world.
Cassandra Denman, Group Show Director says: “The ritual of two people coming together to celebrate their love in front of their friends and family has been going since time began, and whilst Covid-19 has resulted in a number of weddings being postponed, we’re expecting to see an unprecedented number of weddings in 2021. In a recent survey of over 4,000 wedding planning couples, 93% had kept their original wedding date or postponed to a later date.”
