Due to take place next month, Valmont Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week 2019 has now sold out, and is set to be the largest event so far…
With more than 400 brands having confirmed their attendance at Valmont Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week, the trade show has had to put up their ‘sold out’ sign. Seeing a 10% increase on last year’s trade exhibition, brands will be in attendance from around the world at the April event, particularly from the UK, USA, Italy, Holland, Germany, Turkey, France, Portugal, Belgium, Poland, Lebanon, Israel and Ukraine among others.
From the UK, you can expect to see the likes of David Fielden, Catherine Deane and Caroline Castigliano and Sassi Holford at the 2019 show. While the USA will be represented by leading firms such as Justin Alexander, Morilee, Theia, Demetrios, Enzoani, Allure, Badgley Mischka, JLM Group, Hayley Paige, Lazaro, Maggie Sottero and Randy Fenoli, Sareh Nouri, Anne Barge, Casablanca and Savannah Miller.
Making their debuts in Barcelona will be Marchesa, The Atelier by Jimmy Choo, Antonio Riva and Zac Posen
Organised by Fira de Barcelona, the VBBFW is set to be a ‘hub of international business for bridal, cocktail and evening wear fashion and accessories.’ It is expected their will be buyers from 64 countries, with forecasts suggesting that this year’s show will exceed the 21,000 visitors recorded in 2018.
As such, VBBFW 2019 is expected to “refocus the attention of professionals and the global fashion audience, consolidating Barcelona as one of the most important bridal and evening wear fashion capitals in the world.”
The Valmont Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week trade fair will open from 26-28th April, following the fashion show that will take place from 23rd-26th April. Both the fashion show and the trade fair will be held at Fira de Barcelona’s Montjuïc venue.
