Renowned training provider, RADA Business, launches virtual media performance coaching for business professionals
Following the launch of its online performance and coaching programmes, Virtual Stage, RADA Business, is extending its online offering of virtual performance coaching to include a new virtual training programme on media performance.
The commercial subsidiary of the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, RADA Business are offering crucial coaching to help equip business leaders and key spokespeople deliver their message – wherever they are – which is especially important as we adapt to new ways of remote working. Media commitments are often now fulfilled through remote platforms, alone and from home, without the support of a professional crew, or producer.
Rachel Griffiths, Client Director at RADA Business, comments:
Media interviews are often the cause of much trepidation for our clients. Any media interview represents an opportunity for a leader to deliver their message in a highly visible medium, to be the ambassador for their brand, and to build trust with their stakeholders. Interviews are often recorded and shared across multiple channels and audiences. To ensure the opportunity is maximised, every performance should be authentic.’
A leader must be able to embody their message. They must ensure that what they are saying matches what they are feeling, thinking and behaving. The right media know-how can be make or break for some businesses. A strong media performance can build trust, increase engagement and impact share price.
The bespoke, virtual programme uses in-depth personal feedback, coaching and direction, including practical exercises, discussion and analysis that is split into two 3.5 hour long modules.
Module 1: Participants receive one-on-one direction on how to flex between communication styles for different audiences and situations, whilst exploring physical and vocal presence. From the basics of how to set up your screen, lighting and background, to the importance of increasing your vocal range and expanding your physical presence.
Module 2: Professionals learn how to hold their space, maintain their state in high-stakes-scenarios, and deliver their message with clarity and impact.
Rachel Griffiths, continues:
We are extremely excited to be launching the latest addition to our virtual performance programmes, with an offering that provides business professionals with the skills and techniques to deliver an effective, aligned and powerful performance on camera and to the media.
